That's always the problem with bodyjacker isekai stories. It's not character growth that made him a better person, it's literally brainwashing. Yet they try to play it off like some heartwarming development

it's such a shame mangaka try and speedrun their "childhood" arc so quickly. The moment when they are all children is something to cherish, it shows the growth of their bonds and where romance buds. To timeskip it in a page is such a waste
