Why does MC think his father sent him here for a reason? He was exiled to an uninhabited island with no resources. There wasn't even really a cave before he dug it out. Buddy was sent here to die.

Lucky could have just shot his magic up towards the sky, no need to jump in front of it like an idiot. Did MC learn a bunch of new spells from his magic dog? How is he suddenly able to block an attack from something all the monsters in the forest are afraid of?

Why is he worried about the empire or whatever finding out about his boats or power? No one knows about his boats because he can disguise them. Just take part in the war or don't, quit being such a wimp.

Wow, chapter 2 and the series already jumped the shark. I wonder if the author even did any research about power tools before deciding MC needed a magic AI and mecha excavator. I look forward to seeing how ridiculously op he gets by the next chapter.
