If this series try to go into the serious narrative route and do it badly, then I would rather it stays as a goofy ass slapstick gag manga. It's very difficult to do both, and I don't think the comedian has the writing chop to do it. With that said this was an enjoyable chapter

I think at this point in the manga it seems clear that the tension in the series is not so much about Isaki's fate, but how she and Ganta would navigate their relationship at this crossroad in their life.

how does Ojiro Makoto do it? she captures the youthful excitement of seeing a big city for the first time so well. This manga is full of chapters like this where nothing big is happening and yet so fun and engaging to read
