How, generally, codes don't translate well because its usually very dependent on the original language. So they need a looong explanation by the translators in the afterword. If you go back to to the very early era of Conan, you'll notice a lot more cases that feature codes, its been a mainstay...

Gosho Aoyama is 62 now, retirement age in Japan is 65. I expect he plans to have Detective Conan wrapped up by the time he retires, possibly KK as well.

He renegotiated his contract and schedule when he was about 55, if I recall correctly. Not so much to do with health, just preparing for retirement and generally wanting more free time or a slower pace. He is 62 now, and has been wrapping things up with Conan gradually, ever since the schedule...

I don't think Uncle was calling her fat, I think he was just saying she was too busty for her clothes around the chest, but Lili, believing the hero is pure and saintly, didn't even consider that and thought Uncle was just calling Alicia a fatty.

If page 5 is anything to go by then Uncle at least does view Magatsu as female, even if he is not 100% sure. Its clear that Uncle genuinely did have feelings for them on some level by the end.
