(This is a joke, but I do genuinely love his art for 'plain' or 'ugly' characters a LOT more. He draws them so well and I love them, especially Tae from gantz.)
I'm hoping Norio-sensei will take the end of the series to take a well deserved break, then come back with sequel series once they've had some time to develop some more ideas. I don't think any announcements have been made. The spin-off is still ongoing though.
I'm thankful for the chapter update, sad about the hiatus though. Maybe, if it kicks off again, I'll go back and remind myself who's who and what's what.

It reminds me of another manga where the MC promises an illegal marriage. At the end of the manga he becomes a politician and changes the law, just so he can fulfil his promise.
