Poor fucking cat. I enjoy this series keeping the comedic characters on point even when it goes multiple chapters of weird battles.
Also: oh nooooo, this is when I caught up to this manga.
Wait, we're not even going to see any of the Oni? I liked learning about the "god" or whatever the giant was, but I was hoping we could get a direct look at the Oni to see both sides of the story.
When we got to the scene of the big party waiting out of the shop I went "ah" and realized we had reached the end. This has been a pretty good manga. A few weak points here and there, I would have liked a little more in a few places, but I really enjoyed it.
Shame that it looks like they're getting rid of the idiot this quickly. Would have been interesting to keep him in the top 16 just to prolong his agony.
AFAIK the only real plot purpose here is for them to meet the Emperor of Blades and maybe that other high power chick?
But yeah, it's exceptionally lame and smells of toxic revenge fantasy.
This is somethingly of a modern misnomer. It DOES, in modern parlance, mean that. It ALSO meanes a home-y environment. Its one of those things where context matters everything.
