@Chiiyu since the author is Korean, I think it's written with a Korean mindset - I'm just inferring from Kdrama here, but for some reason "cold" characters are always hated there too, so could just be a cultural thing where you're expected to be polite and smiling all the time?

@sirflimflam we knew from before that he was kind to her in her past life; that was mentioned a few times, but yes this is the first time we learned this extra info. I don't think it's too out of place, but definitely a bit surprising.

This translation seems more accurate than the previous one by KKJ. For example, in the panel where she sits in the theatre, this translation refers to a concert, whereas the other translation refers to a menu. The other chapters so far have also been kind of confusing to read - I have a feeling...
