Probably an American one. In the original, his accent mostly appeared as words written in katakana instead of kanji or hiragana (to show he was pronouncing them strangely), but some of the expressions he used, like the "Hurry up!", were English transliterated into katakana, i.e. "Harri appu!"...

Actually, in the original Japanese, the word friend had no indication if it was plural or singular. Similarly, there are other parts of the prophecy that used wordplay that only works in Japanese. We'll see when the next chapter (the one after 201) is out, though.

The wife's name is Mayumi. The corporates were spurred on to kill Rei, her sister, by Takagi, the same woman who is killed in the first/second chapter of this arc. Mayumi most likely killed many more people who were related to the skinsuit business.
