To demonstrate to everyone that Himari hadn't changed at all. Yet again lied her arse off by claiming she was Iemori's 'best friend', and then the time skip showed she dropped him like a rock. Best friend my arse.

Friendship? But Himari insisted she was his BEST friend, and then proceeded to drop him like a rock. Himari's character proving right to the end that they're absolutely full of sh*t.

In order to be a 'losing heroine', the FMC first needs to act like a heroine. Repeatedly lying is NOT heroic behaviour, and does not deserve the win.

Guess when Himari corrected him and said she's not his friend but his best friend, she was lying again. Thankfully, liars usually get the outcome they deserve. ;)

My honest belief is the author intended for Himari to win, but screwed up their own plot so badly they couldn't think of any believable way to get that title ship to make sense. Guessing an editor canned it before it had the chance to get even more stupid. Still, Himari losing is a win for me...

Going to be awkward if Iemori gets multiple clients, cleans all their houses well, and starts believing that must mean he's fallen in love with all of them. One of the dumbest plotlines I've ever read.

Seeing the author give even less reason for Iemori falling for Himari. I mean come on, "I work hard to clean her house, so I must love her?" What kind of trash is that? Let's agree that the author's ability to write a believable romance for ANY of their characters is not currently evident.

I think that's what I would like to believe, if I was confident the author won't find a way to screw it up in the next chapter or two.
