this was not axed just because a series is short doesnt mean it was axed was always planned to be a short series, also a series getting axed is based off its volume sales, which this series doesnt even had a single volume yet

yeah it was always going to be short, it wasnt axed because there isnt even a volume out yet and its already gone past the typical vol 1 of yuri hime. its just a shorter series it being on hieatus next month is just because it the mangaka first serilasation.

its acutally monthly its just behind in raws were up to chapter 9 now in raws there was a break last month because the author was a little sick but it seems like instead of having another break there is going to be a chapter and vol 2 coming next month
