That's pretty much my only gripe with the story. It could have been told either 100% without reincarnation elements, or give them to a secondary character watching from the background and show their confused expressions.
On one hand, I adore the way this plays out. On the other, I feel like the alternate storyline where the Duke comes down before her speech about be his daughter and telling her to take off her mask and identifying her as a daughter of Krisis would also be amazing.
Honestly, no. It's just that the royalty of this kingdom and their actions pretty much flaunt the general idea of respect for the common people. More so than most fantasy stories from what I feel.
I think what's really nice is that Yuu picked up on the part of their relationship that neither of them had admitted yet, and thusly forced their hands. It's just so good.
