For real, I guess they don't think 1 adult plus 1 adult is a good combination. Age gaps don't really matter, especially when it's an arranged medieval marriage.

This age difference is extremely realistic, age differences such as this one are recorded all throughout history. Only recently in modern days do we consider people of the same age marrying to be normal.

To be fair he just wasn't the same. He was too tall, he wasn't cute anymore.

Might just be a translation error, maybe it was supposed to be something along the lines of "I made a girly noise" or something like that. Idk though, maybe the author just phrases things super weirdly and the translation is perfect.
