This arc might be endgame. Jeanne is going to get more annoying and angels have some kind of agenda to tear them apart. Kanan is going to have to admit she actually loves him and drop the “devouring his soul” thing.

There also has to be some closure for shark girl and her friend. Especially with Kanan revealing herself as a demon and making a contract. Hopefully less than 10 chapters for this arc to get wrapped up.

It's because this is the first arc that doesn't have any major stakes in Kanan and Kyougi's relationship. There hasn't been any obstacles after the conclusion of Tekka's arc.

People seem to forget that Kyougi shoots down every other girl just because he’s not rude about it. He straight rejected Jeanne twice before Kanan decided to push her to keep going (for whatever reason).

Kanan can manipulate memories.

The way Kanan handled Jeanne was also retarded. She encouraged Jeanne to pursue Kyougi back at the festival because she was sad. Jeanne had pretty much accepted she wouldnt be able to have what Kanan and Kyougi did at that point. Letting Jeanne stay at her house is also weird.

20 plus chapters for the plot to start moving again 💀. Looks like an angel has finally made an appearance.

She was sent to protect Kyougi specifically from Kanan. Jeanne still thinks Kanan is toying with Kyougi to eventually eat his soul.

Yeah, it doesn't make sense that Tekka is able to match physically with demons. The duel arc would have been better if it was just Jeanne vs Kanan imo.

Jeanne still needs some kind of conclusion. She cant go back unless she convinces Kyougi to go to heaven with her. Also, theres still the mystery on why angels are interested in Kyougi.

Nonco wasted Tekka by not having her be a main love rival or something. She got a entire arc just to get thrown into yuri jail.

The other fights might be shorter. Whoever is going against Kanan and slightly more competent Jeanne should get bulldozed. But there’s still probably 1 more intermission, rnd 3, and some kind of conclusion for shark girl and friends.

At the pace this is going. For sure 10+ chapters for this arc

I guess Tekka doesn't know they’re dating somehow? Also how tf are they going to explain uncorrupted Jeanne?

My guess is that it’s going to tie into some bigger plot that has to do with Jeanne’s original mission. There’s no possibility of Kyougi falling for anyone else.

Shes too prideful to use it to win. Her abilities have also been inconsistent. Kanan is absurdly powerful but lost to Kyougi in a race in the early chapters.

Shark girl is clearly evil. Couldn't have been too hard to manipulate the school board into doing it.
