This is pretty decent: the hero's not OP, there's OK character development, and the friend adds a dynamic that's interesting. It's not uncut cocaine wish-fulfillment, which is a plus.

+1 for monthly, makes for a more substantive read.

It's decent. Not as much "character" as gate, but more credible. Not digging the hypocrisy between showing the villains as xenophobic, but having the heroes be a "super japanese-master race". Id't be nice if magic was somewhat effective as well. Imagine an isekai with a modern army in a...
