The entire premise is a bit silly but enjoyable. Also we were destined to be together/be my finance being handled in, a less forceful way that feels less weird. Also I’m a sucker for gloomy as hell leads who lack confidence and are depressed.

The art was really solid and honestly did a lot for the story. The overall aesthetic of the setting was neat and felt any level of more originally than most manga. That said at least there’s the light novel.

It’s just we finally get a manga that doesn’t drag or pull nonsense tropes. The girls are straightforward enough and the people of the story aren’t comical so the progress made feels not silly. Also the isekai character isn’t a 30 year old office worker grooming a high schooler so thank god.
