The author does everything for a reason, this might move the plot toward moving them together, we may all want that slice of life but in literature stuff like that has to be resolved as a plot device to move characters arcs further.
They really need to communicate. I get they’re dumb high schoolers but the fact that aya is actively turning more and more white and black than green just hurts, because it shows shes getting further from koga.
