I was curious about the "problematic character design" line so I checked the raw. The Japanese is 「そして相変わらずの目のやり場に困るキャラデザ」 which translate to something like "And the same character design, I don't know where to look". DeepL straight up translate it to "And the same eye-catching character design."

@DanyRaid While the edit is better, a translator should stick to translating, it is not their role to try to improve the work. I do appreciate the effort though, I'd recommend putting it at the end of the chapter as bonus.
