So far we haven't been given any reason to root for Itagaki, but knowing the kinda Disney turns these fights take, I feel some hail Mary move will give him the edge against Saeki sooner or later :/ Morikawa should at least make us try and root for Manabu.

I think at this point anyone reading is rooting for Saeki, but since I doubt there'll be an Ippo vs Saeki II, it seems Itagaki might win...which sucks, Saeki is the best character between them and Morikawa isn't really doing anything at all to make us root for Manabu LOL
