I love the dark souls vibes. The monsters are really well thought / non generic. Same with the exploration & items.

In most other manga, standing up for your friends feels like a super cliche trope. Here, it's pulled off really naturally, and in a safe environment such that it makes sense for Chihiro to voice out. Really good stuff.

Its difficult to sum up the relationship of Chihiro & Yugami in a simple way. They're like neighbors, but more and yet less. They're not actively interacting with each other, but they inadvertently do due to a strange sort of personality match. This dynamic makes the manga really soothing to...

This girl needs some sense knocked into her. Its a good thing Yugami delivers in truckloads. Maybe too much of a good thing.

Now they're just having fun teasing each other. I really like the characters here. A times they seem mature, but they flop up just exactly like how students do (& should).

Following on with what cyand said, This is a pretty common practice in Japan, called shareikin. Something like reward money. You give a % of your wallet to the person who found it.
