But I want to point out that the patriacal system in the novel was created by her, so she WANTED in her world the females below the males (bleah)
It can also be that she didn't plan all the society, but to overlook such an important characteristic? idk, plot hole?
He didn't reject her yet, so I thinks it's alright if she wants to convince him at least until he says no explicitly
But you gonna respect the other's wishes if you like them, so I'm not entirely convinced of her decision
I understand her behavior, she approched him with that intention, not because she wanted to be her friend, so break it off in this way makes sense. It's rude, but it hurts her less, obviously there are other ways to do that.
