The author probably isn’t confident in their ability to sell a legitimately interesting story without throwing in some soft core porn constantly. Hopefully it’s not gonna be an every single chapter thing, but sadly it doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere for a while.

Agreed. It feels like the author understands how to handle this series way better in comparison to his gambling manga. From how the character arcs/dynamics are executed, to how stakes are handled, to the character designs, and flare of the world. Solid step up imo.
