There’s something so, so refreshing about the setting of this story where everyone is inherently a good person deep down, and that all conflicts are resolvable with empathy and conversation.

I get that the upper cast generally sucks as a rule in this story. It would make a lot more sense to me if he had any sort of history with that girl or knew her to have specifically done something awful based on his knowledge of the game. The foundation for that sort of threat of bodily harm...

I adore everything about this series.

This story reminds me so much of Mutineers Moon by David Webber, just with a isaeki fantasy world instead of earth. It’s got so many shared points in setting I sorta wonder if the LN author read it back in the day. It’s a really old book, so not impossible.

That seems like the point of why this “goddess” made him into a bug. I think the manga-ka also just didn’t want to have to flesh out a bloody war of unification. Alan would have come out of it looking like a monster and war monger due to the inevitable civilian casualties, famine, and...

I just noticed that Light Novels Translations posted a new LN chapter for this within the last week. Did the story get picked back up by the author?

It would be so refreshing if this is an actual romantic development. In most of the series like this it ends up being yuri bait only.

What the fuck, this is so outside of the tone of the entire series so far. It don’t hate though, but damn that was abrupt.
