I'm debating whether I should continue reading this to the spin-off and sequel series. Despite how bad this was, it DID have some fun qualities in the first half. And then it felt like it was dragging. AND THEN the artstyle changed, killing any fun this had somehow. Honestly, I kept reading out...

I gotta say, this manga became a lot worse after the artstyle change. Since it has someone who writes, it shouldn't be the case. But like, not only is the art style worse, but things feel rushed. This manga went off the rails a long while ago, but it lost the plot in the last like few chapters...

Dang, this artstyle change is... rough. Not nearly as sexy or even impactful. Good art was practically the only objectively good thing this manga had, but I'm here for the equivalent of junk food, so I can't exactly complain.

I guess the author realized there wasn't much sex recently, so I'm happy it came back. And this this was definitely the hottest scene so far. Also, I knew this girl was gonna die. She did nothing and was dead weight. This author always kills dead weight when new characters come.

Finally, some lewd stuff again. Also, if they kill off Mutsumi, I'll probably ragequit.

So like, has the author just given up the ecchi part? It was nonstop early on...

Where is my obligatory ecchi mixed in with the bug action? The author is slipping...

I know we're operating on "just go with the flow" logic, but to be even remotely fine after getting an arm sliced off is beyond me. But it's cool, so who cares? I'm reading a giant bug, ecchi manga after all, lmao

My gut instinct tells me (but of course, I could be wrong) that one many have called the Slut is an author favorite. And to be fair, I can imagine many sexy situations with her, so I imagine the author wants to keep that potential. So I say she has plot armor for a while.

Each time we get new characters, some of the previous characters that didn't really have anything to do in newer chapters became cannon fodder. If this pattern holds up, I have a pretty good feeling I know who the next couple to die are (outside of new people).

I'm still honestly bewildered why anybody who was with this one character that's practically carrying the entire group on her own would keep betraying her. Even these 2 assholes from the beginning of the story should really have gotten a clue... Well, at least the sex scene was nice.

The writing on the JP side and the translation on the EN side have both really gotten bad...

Captain didn't do much for me. I feel like the author legitimately didn't know what to do with this character, and she became sidelined for a long while. And since they author couldn't figure out what to do with her, sacrifice her to give Mami some development.

This is officially the chapter in which Mutsumi went from being really knowledgeable and lucky to downright OP. Figuring out how to communicate with the bugs is a bit too much. But hey, it's entertaining at least, lmao

Bruh. The story/characters were serviceable before, but it's like the author decided to take the worst aspects of the prior characters and amplified them with this new group. This manga wasn't great before, but this seems insufferable now.
