Very good point! Exactly like Walter in Breaking Bad. Everyone who said this is BB after the first chapter may well be correct. BB developed Walter's transition more gradually. This would've been better (or at least more realistic) if they had also taken more time.

So there's no way your scenario will unfold. It'd be a short and boring ending! The tension is just starting to ratchet.

I like where this seems to be going, a revenge thriller. Tateo's fairly jarring personality change from nebbish, incompetent at life to a take charge kind of guy who knows what he's doing in this chapter doesn't feel realistic. He'd been written quite well, so pitiful it was hard to like him...

I mean no offense but an English proofreader would dramatically improve this. I could proofread if you wanted. Working with only one other person shouldn't negative impact your schedule much.

It would be nice to have a descriptor tag beyond "gore". I can handle blood, gunshots, stabbing, and other blood and guts that more typically seems to fall under the "gore" tag on Mangadex. This is a step up from "gore". It's more torture porn, "guru".

@Melanpan Do you guys need or want a proofreader? Please don't take offense but a proofreader would be helpful on Charlotte. Whether you want one or not is a separate issue and I understand.

@Niewaznekto hahaha! Your editing helped a lot! I'd agree with you. The proportion of good original works is low in general, so anytime an original idea pops up, it gets more acclaim than might be warranted. This one is original. Not yet sure if it's going to be good.

@Kageshinogi I agree with your point that an actual original story is a huge relief after all the mediocre isekai. Compared to those, this may feel like a literal masterpiece but I worry that it's simply going to be a mediocre original story. Which is still better than a mediocre isekai...
