No, of course not. Nothing wrong with sharing a drink between two guys, especially if the other one is feminine-looking and cute. Nothing wrong with sharing clothes and makeup, either. Totally dudebros behavior. Nothing to be ashamed of or embarrassed about at all.

Man you CANNOT be using GPT for translations, at least use DeepL or something that actually translates. GPT is really well-known for just making things up that sound plausible instead of admitting it doesn't know things. Like, REALLY well-known. It's a generative text program, not a genie. It's not programmed to try and find a translation, it just spits out whatever text matches your question best, whether or not it's correct, and calls it a day.

Hell, it might even be against MangaDex rules to use GPT as a translator. If you're not double-checking things with an actual translation service it may as well be a fake translation, and that sure as hell is a reportable offense. I won't, since it is kind of an edge case, but don't be shocked if and when someone else does.

I am fully aware that ChatGPT is confidently wrong. There are plenty of limitations with it, but my main goal is for the translations to make sense in context of the images in the chapters.

And so far I haven't been bitten by it, I'm not taking its translations as gospel and checking individual characters that don't sound correct.
Do feel free to call me out if things ever don't seem correct. always happy to take a 2nd look.

Realistically I think a better option would be double-translating using DeepL/ChatGPT, while also using a non-generative translation software like Google Translate, cross reference both of them, and then manually screen on the English-side for errors. It will not be able to pick out subtleties on the Japanese side but that's the price of machineTL ig

I think it works if you use the following:
For AI-based translation, specify them to focus on NOT translating word-for-word, which can be done with "interpret" or meaning" rather than just "translate".
For Google translate, it is used to provide the exact word-for-word translation, only paying heed to grammatical context
For you, who I am presuming is good and English but poor at Japanese, should screen the English side for any mistakes, as well as fuse both translations together in a cohesive manner you think matches the context of the art.
