Ahh... so this is where the 'he ends up stuck in the girls' room' thing happens in the manga. I personally liked it happening the prior night, to be honest. It's also when the short scene at dinner happens, but I kinda liked it being a moment of reflection on Kyo's part in the anime. I just really liked how the anime had everything come to a head so she could actually depart right after the confession/push for the audition, and most everything else was able to shift before it reasonably well.
Having to hide him makes a lot more sense before Kanna's been told off about the flashmob nonsense and trying to force couples together prematurely like she does, and Anna leaving flows better the way it was handled in the anime, too, I feel, so far. Though I can't say that for sure until I see her actual departure in the manga, I still really like the whole sequence of them separating right after the confession so Anna has no time to give her response, anyway.
Oh shit, and that's also where Chii puts herself down about being a bad leader and Kyo reassures her! Holy shit.
Yeah. Anime basically did just about this whole volume better, in my opinion, with the final four episodes. It's becoming more and more clear to me as I read and rewatch. This is still nice to see in manga form, but I am glad the anime version exists so much more.
