That was super reckless of them to agree to have Scarlet play the role of bait, and I'm surprised her mother easily agreed to it... but I suppose they gambled everything with that one plan, because if they didn't they'd all die anyway.
The battle is over and Wilhelm still isn't there yet. I didn't want his hasty return to be wasted, because results-wise it would seem like there was no difference whether he sailed as soon as he can or waited for the storm to pass.
