There's something strangely beautiful in the anachronistic scene in page 4 of an adult young woman, who's a magically grown up newborn daughter hugging her parents in their youthful prime. A scene only possible through miracle-level magic and nothing else. Amazing.
If Scarlet considers Mary to be her second mother, then that means Joshua is like her adoptive older brother. Too bad Mary's deceased husband couldn't show up for her like her son did. I guess that couldn't really happen so Matsuo could be set up as her new lover. I don't quite remember anymore, but I guess he'll be the father of her second child Flora (in my notes, she appeared in one of the older chapters).
Scarlet can't be the reigning True Empress and her husband has to be the Emperor you say? Well, that's... disappointing. I expected something more for a Reiwa-era work; Then again, Japan already did this to Emperor Naruhito's only child and daughter who isn't allowed to ascend as Empress of the Chrysanthemum Throne. I shouldn't have expected so much, oh well.
Seraphy mistaking Brad for a tomboy was funny. Seemed like he was ready to like "her" but changed his mind after Brad corrected him, so that shuts down the BL route.
So... the solution to protect Scarlet while she grows up is more cross-dressing? First Brad, now Scarlet. Interesting.
Pretty gory scene at the end there for Arisa. I knew this needed the Gore tag. I've seen blood and gore too many times in this story for this not to have that.
