if only the MC wasn't a crazy and the hero went nuts over several years trying to beat him and still lost then this chapter would end with glasses in triumph.

Alfi is effortlessly keeping up with him despite his plan but he's too focus on the fact that his plan is perfect to see the reality before him.

Also the supposed "plan" of bringing his friend over to attract attention is so retarded. Part of the "evidence" was when he effortlessly blocked a barrage of attacks. If that's not a giant red flag that you should think for a second, you might not actually be smart.
