That's the first volume done! A massive undertaking but the fact they're short stories is certainly helping

??? i have so many question, is the mermaid the daughter or the mom reincarnated and what was that with proof of no man laid hand on her (is it mean that we dont speak abt sleeping with mermaid or no ones gonna believe it ?). Andthe revenge what was the whole fish gone and then came back thing after he confess, is she forgive him ? ( this part makes me think that its the mom reincarnated or the daughter have memory of the mom or the baby is actually not in fact a real baby but a thing inside of her grow just for vengeance ?) this is so deep i love it. I interpreted it as the daughter being her mother's resurrection since it takes place 10 years later and she's clearly much older than 10 years old

It'd be pretty hard to have sex with a mermaid considering the lack of genitalia, so I interpreted it as a collective hallucination of sleeping with her

I initially expected the story to go down the starvation route, the mermaid would 'capture' the men so that they would go to her everyday and give her fish everyday instead of feeding their families, and eventually the entire village would starve to death (I mean, even the opening page had a skull with a fish). But somehow it was a less unhappy ending, just bittersweet. Maybe the fisherman was forgiven in the end and the curse lifted.
