1050+ pages, over a 100 hours, 3 months later... This was my biggest project yet and I'm so fucking proud of having done it. Warm thanks to all of you, I really mean it <3

As for my next project, I'm done with Kamimura for a while (will hopefully go back to him in the future, but man I need a break) but staying in the horror genre. I'll be translating The Mysterious Tatari-chan by Kanako Inuki, a shoujo school horror anthology focused on a very weird bullied little girl. I love Inuki's art so I hope some of you will check it out!

As the opening chapter is 80 pages long, requires more cleanup than I'm used to and classes are starting soon, expect it to take a while before my next release. In the mean time, if you want a preview, check out the anthology "Be Very Afraid of Kanako Inuki" published by Kodansha, which features the only chapter of Tatari-chan to ever be officially localized in english

blistering pace of a release schedule. i tuned in to read just for this title every day and i wasn't disappointed.
never had there ever been another manga that coaxes more involuntary holy fucks out of me.
kamimura truly delivers.

seeing it among isekai trash and low-effort twitter one-pagers in the catalog in 2025 makes me feel uplifted, like diamonds in the rough, like there's still hope for this world after all. 🥹

Most of these stories were pretty fun but I think I enjoyed Fidelity and A Pathetic Tsuguru Lament the most of the batch

Fidelity is so good. It's a bit of an odd duck considering the lack of any real supernatural elements, but I loved it so much. Heavy Rain and The Ooku's Vixen were also highlights for me
