The MC wants to return to his first life? Means abandoning everything he has accumulated in his current world? Seems like a shit idea. Wonder what's the end-game here.

What do you mean, "shit idea"? Lmao, it makes sense.
He's known nothing but suffering and struggle in his world. And while things weren't easy in his original world either, who wouldn't want a modern life with a wife they truly love? After all, even with magic, a medieval world sucks compared to modern times.

Still, that doesn't mean he doesn't love his current family, as he wants to make sure they don't meet their doom this time around so they can live happily before returning to his original life and fix thing over there too.

First off, there are plethora of problems with his idea of "returning to his first world".

  • Method of his transfer aside, how does time works between the two world?
  • How much time has passed since his death?
  • Since his first body is already dead, is he going to teleport his current body?
  • How is he going to explain that he's leaving the people he has bonded with in his current life? Throwing them to the trash bin?
  • etc

To be brutally honest, the premise is nothing to write home about, and MC's character seems a little competent at least. However, I got a hunch that this is the type of story where you need to turn your brain off in order to enjoy it. I got no problem with that, but the only way I see how the MC can achieve his goal amicably is through a deus-ex machina, which is lousy and bad writing. But we'll see.

Sorry, but these sound like extreme nitpicks or complaints just for the sake of complaining.

Who says he won’t return as a baby in his old world just like it did in this one?
Then he’d just retrace his path, meet his wife again, and avoid past tragedies.
Who says he won’t master his magic until he can control at what point he can return?
After all, he just recently realized how to get his power, but has other issues to worry about first. And that’s the thing, the story is focusing on what comes first: avoiding the tragedies of this life, which will happen in less than 20 years. That’s the real urgency.

He could fix things first, then spend the rest of his life mastering his power until he 100% knows how it works, and then go back to his original world at a convenient point just before dying of old age in his current world for all we know. And that's the overall thing, we just don't know anything yet. It's the first chapter after all.

If everything goes well this run, he'll have a happy family, a happy romantic interest that he may or may not wife up, the possibility of a... just checked the tags, no harem tag. So a happy wife probably that Anne girl. So I have a lot of doubt that he'll isekai time transfer back further to make his wife happy. If anything, I would wonder if the wife also got isekai'd here and just hasn't awakened to her memories yet.

That would be one kind of Shyamalan twist to resolve that issue without him leaving behind a happy medieval fantasy isekai life.

The proportions of 3-year-old MC doesn't look like those of a 3-year-old child. They look closer to just prepubescent.

Thanks for the translation. I think it's kinda ridiculous how many stories there are where a 5 year old is actually the best and smartest at everything there needs to be more where there adults or at least older. Does anyone know any?

“Ermmm… how does time work? How much time since his death? What about his body?? Emmm ermm im smart” bro he LITERALLY FUCKING REWINDS TIME. His very much dying body is erased (as the manga says) and he is placed back in his baby self. So the state of the body in his first life does not matter at all. And clearly theres a “& Space” aspect to the time power too, once again as the manga says, but you might not know that because it really seems like you only read about four pages of this before taking a shit in the comments here. Basically all of your nitpicks (very obviously just for the sake of nitpicking and being negative) are clearly and easily answered by just fuckin reading the thing. Try it next time 💔💔 you might have fun!

Thank you for proving my point. Having an omnipotent power without rule is a deus-ex machina. If you use your brain a little before responding to me, you might realize this. Sorry, but me questioning the direction of the story is valid; if it's just "that" kind of story, then lousy writing is lousy writing. However, if the author can resolve it without resorting to deus-ex machina, that's better; the desired outcome, even.

I've no problem eating garbage/combing through the dump, as one could come across gold while looking for copper, after all. But still, a man has to have standard, something that you apparently know nothing about. You ought to read more. Who knows, you might improve your reading comprehension, and then possibly develop a standard even, however slightly. Good luck!
