Just enough intriguing plot to make me annoyed that it's too reprehensible and repulsive to keep reading.

(If one were to cut out the pedophilia and the narrative air of acceptance towards MC's disturbed antics, it'd be left with the workings of a very interesting and dark premise. But that's not happening, obviously.)
