The only thing I can think of is that one meme where a guy is stuck in an elevator and messaged the company slack about it but he used the word "guys", and then an automatic bot from slack said something along the lines of "'guys' isn't gender neutral, please use something like 'folks' or 'everyone.'" And then the guy stuck in the elevator repeated himself using "folks"
