i can’t stand Japanese idea of weight loss there’s more too it then starving yourself cuz either you end up way to skinny (and all the problems with that) or you reach a mental breaking point and overindulge. You can eat a lot of food and still lose weight by paying attention to calorie intake, and even gaining small amount of weight is normal if you workout because muscle is denser then fat
