Well for starters, you gotta share your possessions and if you get a divorce then they get half of your stuff. Second of all, it’s cumbersome and expensive as hell. Lastly, it’s basically like signing a contract to garauntee ”love”. Which is kinda weird as marriage is generally a human construct. Though, there are animals that mate for life.
