God this chapter, expanding on the movie with the whole Akari having her feelings slowly fade over time just makes me hate this even more. Really her or Takaki would have said what they'd wanted to at the train station when they met up that night, or successively over time, and I can't reasonably see them stopping communicating. Series COULD have had potential like some Shinkai's other works, but this one just goes downhill so damn hard.
