Keep in mind from Nariyuki's pov she's so far the only girl to confess to him seriously (he didn't recognize it when she did in chapter 43, this is actually the results of her second confession) and the main thing is she's the first one to do it to a point where it registered with him (like all manga/anime the silent, private, or misunderstood confessions tend not to register). When it comes to confessions from the others: Sensei never has done it (other than her teen flashback time-skip arc)... is simply sensei so he may view her as a teacher only, Sempai teased him multiple times... blew it away so much that he'd most likely feel like she's teasing him again, Ogata...back in chapter 29 teased it pretty hard about kissing him but with her emotionally void state he might wonder if she's experimenting with him if she confessed, and Furuhashi... did confess but did it so timidly he couldn't even hear her. If you consider how long Uruka has carried the torch for him, she picked the same highschool he did to stay closer to him, how much she even practiced in front of a mirror for years to communicate to him, five valentines chocolate gifts, and looking/dragging him when he fell in the cold at least I'm not too disappointed if she wins.

...But I still think sensei would be far and away a more interesting match-up.

I will be honest, Uruka and Nariyuki chemistry is way too strong lately that i cannot help but support it. Perhaps Uruka is tied with Sensei in my own personal shipping, but I got feeling author got a bias to Uruka.

Furuhashi...eh, i don't hate her, but as romantic partner for Nariyuki i just don't feel her, probably because she playing support for Rizu and Uruka for too long that i can't really see her ended with Nariyuki for good.

I've read through the series twice so far, the heaviest bias is Furuhashi but when it comes down to the best overall scenes it's sensei hands down.

Uruka has sympathy factor going for her in the fact how long she's carried a torch for him and how she's shown gap moe towards him of being confident with every relationship she has with anyone else but him. I thought her best chapter was 43, truly the epitome dense MC of shonen romance.
