Maybe because all these supposed geniuses positioned themselves around him in a full circle, so, had they shot, they would have risked hitting each other.
At this point I just hope this manga ends quickly, it's just dumb at this point.

A circular firing squad doesn't work well if the shooters don't want to catch a bullet too. They needed to get him up against the wall before taking the shot.

Circling with guns or not shooting him at least once isn't even the problem here.

How? There's not even a mark on his wrist afterwards, if you force out of that kind of bind (in itself is pretty much near impossible) you would lose some flesh.

just feels unsatisfying on how this all ties in together, and the mad lad escaped magically with those binds to prolong his merry chase and possible death of some of them in there.

i guess i'm not feeling the sense of fun and intrigue i used to have on the much earlier chapters. though i admit i already lost my sense of wonderment on that one kill squad guy that lived through a massive explosion.

still waiting on what the new promise is, then the last strings are pulled.
