While I would have liked a peek into the future with a more definitive conclusion for how they all settle down - that is rare in harem-y stories, so I can't be too mad.

A bit rushed in spots, but overall a fun read.

Thanks for translating!

It's pretty interesting checking out the manga and then going to check out the light novel version. There's a lot of stuff that was just not included in the manga version. We didn't even get introduce to the character Joshua. He was a childhood friend of Coco. And Carrie was suppose to look a lot older. Screenshot 2025-02-07 at 6.23.02 AM.png

I can't tell if this manga really was axed as it does sorta end where the light novel ends it seems. In the light novel, the last page I could find reads this
----
"Well then, shall we start by opening it up and taking a look?"

Micchan confirmed the schedule, and Ryoichi nodded in agreement, making the necessary preparations for the following day's activities.

The next morning, they left the village where they had stayed for the night. Their destination was the road leading to Liaspes, and they were riding in a horse-drawn carriage.

For Ryoichi, this was an unusual journey.

"Horses, huh..."

Ryoichi muttered as he looked out of the carriage window.

"Horses aren't bad," someone responded.

Perhaps because they had been traveling for a while, their sense of distance had dulled, but when the carriage shook, the horse reacted strongly, making them feel the impact.

Even so, it was a peaceful journey.

Before long, they reached the town of Liaspes.

The town’s skyline was different from what they had seen before. The center of the town had a large, magnificent building towering over it.
----
This sounds somewhat familiar to how the manga had ended, and Liaspes seems to describe this floating place at the end.Screenshot 2025-02-07 at 6.35.34 AM.png

Page 13:
Driven by vengeance, you've committed countless sins.
Countless sins, fueled by revenge.
.... WHAT REVENGE?! We just had his backstory told where he, and I cannot stress this enough, folded at the first unconfirmed hint of betrayal and went on a murder spree of everyone he knew and loved all because some random voice he'd never heard before said to. We can't even say he was mind controlled or manipulated, because that was never suggested. He just accepted this random voice at its word. After that, he then declared war on all life and the gods because that same voice said the gods are bad. There's no revenge in that, only stupidity. Can anyone who read the light novel tell me if the backstory was a little less stupid, like if there actually was some form of mind control or something?

Page 26:
I feel an unidentified gaze on us.
Michika knows we're here.

Overall, I'd say this was a fairly standard series. Not great, but not horrible. I do think that primary antagonist backstory is so stupid, though, that it bumps the series to below average. Thank you for the translation, nonetheless.

That's certainly one of the endings of all time.

Felt like this entire volume was rushed to get to the ending, and Shin's motivations fall really flat on their face for the reasons Dementis stated already.
