That reminds me, I think both of his current girls said they learned Brahimian as part of their education at the slave guild to help them become more desirable slaves, didn't they? I wonder what their first languages are. We don't see them slip back into their mother tongue at all, even during battle. It makes sense for them to speak as much as they can in the one language they know their master understands, but you'd think ther would be at least a couple instances of them slipping into their more comfortable, instinctual language.

It’s basically like you’re buying the daughter from “Taken” if her dad didn’t rescue her. Sure, they show how uncomfortable he is and how well kept she is, but still.

Well, if we compare with the LN & Manga,

• Roxanne, debuted in LN Ch.3 (Vol.1) -> Manga Ch.3 (Vol.1 Ch.3-1)
• Sherry, debuted in LN Ch.16 (Vol.4) -> Manga Ch.38 (Vol.6 Ch.16-1)
• Miria, debuted in LN Ch.28 (Vol.6) -> Manga Ch.101 (Ch.28-4)
• Vesta, debuted in LN Ch.40 (Vol.8)
• Rutina, debuted in LN Ch.55 (Vol.11)

Based on this, it took 13 chapters in the LN & 35 chapters in the Manga for Sherry to debut.
And in case of Miria, she took 12 chapters in the LN, and 63 chapters in the Manga.

The 4th girl takes 12 chapters, while the 5th girl takes 15 chapters in the LN.
So, based on the Manga trend, it could take between 30-60 chapters for the 4th one to appear, unless they rush the plot in the Manga.

One adjustment to consider for the numbers is the fact that the chapters got substantially shorter at a certain point.

Counting up approximate page numbers, Roxanne to Sherry was about 840 pages, while Sherry to Miria was about 1040 pages. While the number of chapters almost doubled (35 → 63), the actual page count was much closer.

Unfortunately, the chapter count informs real-life time to wait. Even if the amount of story was roughly similar between them, 10 pages per chapter vs 30 pages per chapter is a huge increase in time.

Another 1000 pages to get to the next member would not seem out of line (though it could maybe be compressed down to Sherry's 850 page range, given LN chapter counts), but that could be anywhere from 30 to 100 chapters. I'd guess it would land around 50 chapters, assuming an average of 20 pages per chapter. Which translates to about 4 years.

I imagine they'll have time to slowly teach her rather than hire a specific tutor (tho with mc's power i'm surprised he wouldn't have a telepathy/communication skill)

Well, i primarily went for that, aka., real-life wait time.
Pages per chapter can vary, but the amount of time could give a vague idea as to how long it might take.
Though i agree that it would have been better to possibly even include the release dates of those chapters to give a more accurate idea, but the release date of those chapters is unknown to me, nor i can easily find them now after so long.

Diver is her racial job. Pirate is her "punishment" job.

Namely, if she ever tried to change her job*, it would automatically get overridden with Pirate. Since Pirate, like Thief, means instant outcast and legally killable, and you're forbidden from using job change stations, it's a strong incentive to sit in your corner and not do anything out of line.

* I think there was a time limit for the curse, like the next 10 years or something. After that it would expire, and she could change jobs normally again.

Yep, its probably something we've got to get used to a bit, everything is fast paced these days and no real adventuring. I feel like a lot of us got so used to fast pacing mangas and got spoiled over time. I think the anime already revealed all the girls in a single episode of the anime and now everyone want to see them all together as fast as possible with the manga.
