I've been thinking this ever since Forty started exploding for its gender changes, but the author really gave up on the original premise for the character, didn't he? He really wanted to start off with a little sister character, made her quirky for quirky's sake, and now he's back to a little sister character all over again. But instead of making her act 13, he's making her act 7-8.
