This series is so fuckin' unique. Like, it's not unique at all in some ways, but then off the charts in others for its style. More violent than average shounen power fantasy, more "serious" than most isekai/returner stories (not focused on HS drama as if the MC was never older), and then we have gods descending now and feeding on humans? Whoever made this had to have been smoking something strong, it's insane.
This series is clearly intended to be a mix of '90s straight to VHS anime and the modern overpowered isekai trope. It's got '90s VHS grittiness that doesn't hold back

Too me it seems just another one of those "guy with unique powers" meets "girl with orthodox powers from powerful organisation" and fight whatever weirdo evil mobs while there's another "bad organisation" in the background on the side of the bad guys...

How do you even erase someone's existence? In the digital world, there are records everywhere, even if these guys are still in the late 90's. Do digital records disappear as well? If you simply remove a digital entry by force, it would cause variable errors elsewhere in the database. You would need to fix that as well. Backups would need to be altered naturally. You'd also need to remove all the physical belongings of the erased person. Basically the only viable method to achieve this is to rewrite the history itself, as if the person never existed in the first place, so all the records and other traces never existed either. If the entity behind this all has the power to do that, they could also make Namba disappear entirely, probably with but a mere thought. Dude better hope they won't consider him a nuisance, unless he has a divine protection granted by the goddess who sent him back.

Well, this has Claymore vibes, now.
After 2020, doing a "Norse myth is for real-real" is overused and obscenely boring (endless comic-book movies ahoy), but the angle of: "The gods are eldritch-abominations who feed on human flesh, because they are deprived of faith" -- is actually really interesting.
So, for the very least, kudos to the author on that. Too bad the rest of the story is boring af.
