Hmm, didn't expect it to be an environmental story. So the cats would end up erasing humanity huh. There's a thought lol. Although, the extinction of humanity would probably wipe out a large portion of housecats too. The sheer number and variety of them in the modern day probably wouldn't have come to be without human intervention.

But then, we have these breeds with painfully short limbs and so much fur they can't even keep themselves clean, it'd probably be for the best.

Ahhh, humanity. The older I get, the less sympathetic I am towards my own kind.
