My guess is this:

He first spent an unknown amount of time at home, he's been to the sperm center multiple times and the max is one per week so we can reasonably say he's been in the world at least a month.
This is his third school day, but there was a weekend in between, so 5 days since he started school.

The author wants to spend a lot of time on these little situations, but he probably realizes that if he did one chapter per week then we'd never really get anywhere, so kudos to the daily updates. I'm going to guess the two shot arc will be another 5-10 chapters depending on whether or not Aya and Hana get involved too.
