I kind of forgot whether the other 'ancient magic' is also futuristic based or not. If it is, then it's cool since it's at least building something for 'ancient magic' lore. If not, that's just kind of random asspull.

How could anyone fall in love with this guy? He acts so pathetic in every situation. Also apparently being a sage doesn't mean anything in this world. Typically in these fantasy stories the title Sage implies a deep knowledge across most forms of magic, yet this medical scrub is like the Sage can't possible be a better healer than me.
