I thought magic swordsmen were special because few had the ability to focus on spell composition while mainting active combat, making them rare?

I would rather have this a thousand times over than an author who spends sixteen plus chapters on one fight that feels like it never ends. The most boring part of any novel or manga or whatever else is a fight that goes on for far too long.
