I don't understand much about how MangaDex functions as I'm relatively new, but why was this chapter just randomly released by another translator when up to chapter 14 it has already been translated? The 'credits' page doesn't really explain much at all. Chapter 14 was translated and released 8 days ago, so the usual explanation of the manga being dropped by the translator isn't viable. I'm confused and disappointed; I was mega hyped when I saw a new chapter in my follows.

@BowmanW because MD allows different translator releasing the same chapter. Same chapter but different quality, so people are free to read whichever version they want. If quality doesn't bother you then just put the new one as "read".

@Xystus: You are answering the question of "Why was this translation allowed to be posted?", which was not BowmanW's question. They asked "Why did this guy bother to translate something that already has a translation available?" If they found actual fault with the translation, they should've pointed it out in the credits page or in a comment here, otherwise it comes across as "I retranslated this just because".
