I want to highlight the fact, that the decision of the MC to save the girl is so out of character and so idiotic that the author themself thought they needed to dedicate half a chapter to explain why he would do it.
The author couldn't maintain the personality of their main character for more than 6 chapters. Regardless of what the original plan of the author was, it lost to "GIRL! THE MC NEEDS A WOMAN AT THEIR FEET!!! LOVE INTEREST!! WE NEED A BUSTY BIMBO HANGING ON HIS LIPS!!"
