I think the idiot noble is gonna arrive first gets massacred and puts the second princess in danger then the MC comes in to save her and she falls inlove with him.

this is very possible but i doubt they can make it there first unless they abandon half of their forces or even worst yet, abandon all but a hundred of their force.

holy christ!! not only is this chapter translated 5 months late, but this manga hasn't been updated in 5 months either. is the artist dying or something because this is some ridiculousness.

It's so likely to happen I think you need to put it in Spoiler.

It just means its predictable enough not that its a bad thing. An actual strong protagonist both in character or in bed is nice to read over the Japanese MCs.

Ya know for a series that started out as smut just short of hentai the story is starting to grip me.
